Tina Kizziar

My name is Tina. I became part of the Klesmit Chiropractic family in August of 1998. I am married to a wonderful man named Chris. I have a wonderful daughter named Jessica and a beautiful granddaughter named Alexis Nicole. Being "Nana" to this little angel is so fun and exciting.

How I came to work at Klesmit Chiropractic is a funny story. In 1998 I worked at Lake Pointe Hospital in the billing/collections department. I was working on an account that the insurance did not want to pay. I decided that the patient could get involved with me or she could pay what the insurance did not. I made a call and told the person on the other end of the phone that we had two choices. To either call the insurance company together or she could pay the bill. Turns out that the patient was Dr. Ann Klesmit. To make a long story short, Dr. Ann and I did a three-way to the insurance company and they paid the bill!!!! Before I hung up the phone with Dr. Ann, Dr. Ann offered me a job at Klesmit Chiropractic. I faxed Dr. Ann my resume and within a few hours I was hired. And what a great decision that has been!!!!!!!!

But the story doesn't end there. When I came to Klesmit Chiropractic I had never been to a chiropractor. I had been having leg pain for several months and I had gone to an Orthopedic Surgeon and he told me I had Arthritis. That didn't set to well with me because I was just 32 years old at the time. The orthopedic doctor gave me some medicine and the pain went away. However, when the pills ran out, the pain came back. After a few weeks of working at Klesmit Chiropractic and seeing what Chiropractic could fix, I asked Dr. Sandy about my leg pain. She examined me and took some chiropractic x-rays. What she found was that I had a hip problem and that was what was giving me the leg pain. After several adjustments, I began to notice the pain diminishing. After a few more adjustments, the pain went away and stayed away! ! The diagnosis was a pinched nerve - not arthritis! !

I have never worked for such a "family" before. Even though I am not blood-related to Dr. Ann and Dr. Tom, they treat me as if I was - and sometimes even better!!! I want to welcome you to Klesmit Chiropractic and I can assure you that you are in great hands with our doctors!!!
