Irene Pierce

My name is Irene Pierce and I am delighted to be a part of the Klesmit Chiropractic staff! I have been with Klesmit Chiropractic since May, 2003 and have the utmost respect for each of our doctors and staff. I am sure that we can help you reach a new level of health!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I have been a Mesquite resident since 1986, where I have had the pleasure of raising my four children. My youngest child graduated from high school in 2003! My interests, other than massage therapy, include photography, gardening, writing, yoga, swimming, and music. I began my training in massage at Hands On Massage Therapy school in Mesquite. After completing the basic 300 hours of training, and state licensing, I continued my training with over 200 hours of advanced classes. Some of the advanced training I have received is in Trigger Point (one of my favorites and very therapeutic), Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, injury massage and Thai massage. I believe massage and Chiropractic are a perfect compliment to each other, allowing patients to benefit from a whole body treatment.

Massage has been proven to relax tense muscles and relieve muscle pain, improve the detoxifying function of the lymph glands, increase metabolism, improve blood circulation, and help your skin become healthier because of better delivery of oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body, including your skin. It is estimated that blood passes three times more rapidly through muscles being massaged than muscles at rest. Some of the specific problems that can be improved by massage are arthritis, whiplash, headache, muscle spasms, and leg pain. Muscle tissue that has been injured heals more quickly with less connective tissue build-up, adhesions, and scarring when therapeutic massage is applied regularly.

I am also a patient at Klesmit Chiropractic and I am treated regularly by all three of our doctors. I feel very thankful to have found such a friendly and professional group to work with! I look forward to meeting and serving you in the future.
